I remember doing a mountain run on the way back down when they were newish bit hot the rubber seemed very soft weird sensation in the car I pulled over for a look, they were just very sticky, glued to the road the car moving about slightly.

In my last car I had Falkens (912`s?) fitted, after about 10 minutes of driving I took the car back as the back end felt really wired, like the sidewalls were too flexable, it just didn`t feel right. Got used to it in the end.

Currently running Z1`s and recken there good, better than the Falken`s in the wet and dry.

I have Federal 595R on mine also in 245/40/18. Paid $310 for the pair and $20 fittng for the rears. They seem pretty good on my car, I dont have any complaints

$310 each you mean...

I have Nitto NT05's cant fault them, $220 each, but that was on sale...

If you have 452's on there now, you wont like the maxxis, nor any of the cheap brands.

Glad it wasn't just me, felt like you were driving on all flat tyres and the car would flex about an inch all round.

It did go away after a while.

Got to sort out tyres, whats the pick between the nitto and the falken rt 615? I'd say the falkens purely because the nittos look bloody weird.

Can get both for $250 a tyre.

Any site sponsors in brisbane worth trying?

RT 615 is a full semi slick, wear 200 whereas the Invo is a 260 wear but a much better alrounder.

Thanks, good point just noticed the 615 comes with 6mm of tread where it's normally around 8mm.

Think of the rt615 as a "street semi" as we like to call em. 200 treadwear as mentioned so they are softer than usual but not a true semi that possess R compound rubber.

The nitto invo has a higher treadwear of 260 and more tread so will last longer, also better in the wet due to its design.

You also have the option of the nitto nt05 which also has a treadwear of 200 so its in the same class as the rt615.
