haha group buy on Plazmaman 1800 hp P1 Series Intercooler. All the stock guys should jump on it. :msm:

On a serious note, I thought the plazmaman cooler would be the 1k more expensive. I know who I would go, not just because of the price but because of proven results everywhere.

Where the big Plazmaman cooler excel is in the top end of the market, I've worked with guys on alot of extreme high power cars where 600plus has been the starting point.

There's loads of cars that have used bar & plate coolers right up to 600 and over with results, no denying that fact, but there is alot guys out there, mainly from mid last year onwards that have replaces their coolers with 1000, 1200, 1800 hp cooler made at plazman and have been freaked out by the extra power made just by changing the cooler.

You look around and there's loads of 500/600kw cars with bar & plates, but look at the leaders, the guys pushing the envelope, the Envis, the spiros, these guys have figured it out, and alot of guys are doing the same... Bit of a trend to say the least.

At this level it comes down to core design and endtank design, Plazmaman from their years of true race track r&d in intercooling (6sec cars under their belts) have searched world wide for the finest cores, not the cheapest, but the best for their applications.

What ever you get why dont you do a BEFORE and AFTER dyno result so that everyone can see the result. I can see this being just another one of those threads where there are never any meaningful results published. Just because the cooler produces more power does not mean its a better cooler.

I would tend to look for independant advice, you cant believe what manufactures or resellers tell you, there is a conflict of interest.

Putting aside the bar/plate, tube/fin arguement , I think that Nizpros offset cooler has alot of merit. Regardeless of how you design the tanks, the only way to utilise the whole cooler is to offset the tanks somehow.

A dyno queen might get away with a 5kg tube and fin on a cool day but on a hot summers day racing around a track a good heavy, slight pressure drop bar and plate is maybe the way to go.

it comes down to if someone would post such results it would basically make all other designers redundant now whose gunna do that? I spose that's why the desingers them selves havent done it :bangcomputer:

I mean if my product was better than anyone elses and could prove it id be doing it asap cause it would then be a no brainer for anyone purchasing a cooler.

as chris is no saying :pleasantry: have a look at the trend and it speaks for its self almost!!!!
