Are there any good apps on the iphone that do that ? Should I get one from Ford or who has the best reputation for this hardware ? I have a problem with Turbo flutter and loss of power when it happens and I want to try and diagnose it with a Scan Tool so I can take it to a Performance garage because the prob only exists every now and then and the times ive booked it into a garage it hasnt done it ! ,.. of course ... sheeesz Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/75170-best-scan-tool-sugguestion-obd2/ Share on other sites

They can see and/or clear error codes and have logging and guages and graphs and stuff. Look here for an example.I'm sure they're not as detailed as the Xcals, but it might be enough for what you're after. IMHO X-cal2 for Ba 1's and 2's is second only to the Ford WDSRatter, have you had any luck logging DMR's on BA's with an X3? I was tuning a BF1 recently with a x3 and livelink 6.4 and it wasn't happy. I never had a problem with the same BF and x3 using any of the livelink versions from 4.1 to 6.3. I didn't persist for long though. Oh and 6.4 and x2 works on my BA also.....anyone else had any problems with 6.4?
