I have a BA XR6T with a tune and cold air intake (235 rwkw) . When I nail it and the turbo kicks in , sometimes I hear what I can only describe as a turbo "flutter" , and it is always accompanied by a loss in power , it just levels out and stops accelerating. The weird thing about it is it might not happen for 2 weeks , but when I notice it on a particular day it is like that all day . My spark plugs were changed a few months ago with the tune. Any ideas anyone ??

Is it like a surge or feels like the car is struggling a little bit when it does it?

How old are your coils?

The car basically stops accelerating whenever the turbo flutter is present , it struggles a lot and as for the coils I havent changed them and unless they are done when you get a tune they are probably unchanged. So maybe coils you reackon ?

A boost gauge will give you some idea of what it is or isn't and it's fairly inexpensive and useful even after you sort the problem
