What's the Th400 like on the street?

Is first gear really slow to get up to speed without a little stall up?

What rpm does it hold at 100kmph?

Sorry for he 21 questions mate. I'm really having a hard time deciding between keeping the T56 and getting a TH400.

I don't want to lose the decent launch of first gear and cruising rpm of sixth gear with the T56 but I don't want to shell out more and more dollars for fast wearing diff bits caused by manual+power.

It's awesome on the street. If you want to take it easy it'll cruise all day you want to boot it, instant power.

Off the line on take off that's all relative to how much pedal input you give it and probably tune as well.

Rpm approx 2400/2500 or so with 2.73 diff gears.

There's always a compramise but for reliability, speed/performance and making the most of our setup there is no compramise in my mind at this point

Ahh I suppose my manual diff gear ratio will f*ck me. 3.73 I believe.

Does it have a Drive gear or is it a fully Manualised used auto?

3.7's will be ridicleous on the highway would just be a skid machine and not much good for anything else. It's fully manualised and just 3 gears, I think.you can get them built with it but for the amour of cruising this does it wasn't worth it

Cheers for the responses yet again mate. Looks like I'll have to factor in a diff out for pinion and crown change if I want the TH400.

Will have to buy you a beer or seven if I ever meet you.

End hijack :)

No sweat bud, always happy to help where I can :)

Just a few more pics for the album, some pro shots taken by Cookie Photography & just a few off the old camera phone.

I didn't really take any of under bonnet as we're not 100% happy with the new cover but we've designed a new one that's abit more artistic & detailed so we'll take that when it's all done not to mention the new interior as it's installed

cheers fellas & we've turned down photoshoots til I get all the results I want out of it. No point writing a story saying it could make that much power or could run that time if you know what I mean.
