We are planning on doing back to back test with the 2 different fuels.... Be interesting to see the comparison..Been using their oils since my engine was built and have been very happy... John, let me know when you plan in ordering some.. Might be more effient for us to go halves in a drum

I'm pretty impressed with the e85 if it lives up to expectations. The back to back tests will be interesting, would be good to see them in something that doesnt have a fuel system limitation like yours & mine. Might be time to fit that weldon pump setup up Would be very interested in goin halves in a drum or maybe even get 2 & see what they can do as far as freighting, im considering making a full time switch to the drum stuff & ditching pump fuel except for emergencys Edited 17/06/12 08:17 AM by qik1

turbotrana Member 2,586 Member For: 21y 10m 15d Gender: Male Posted 17/06/12 09:33 AM Share Posted 17/06/12 09:33 AM The latest SM low zinc rated oils seem to be causing issues. Zinc did a good job in protecting engines in years gone by but now with EPA mandating less zinc, the new oil formulas that substitude other additives in place of Zinc may not be as good.Anyway consider these engine we have as racing engines and the more zinc (to a limit of 2000ppm) the better imo. Zinc additives with a good oil can work also. Look up ZDDP.
