Prob better off going the 1's as the 05's from what I am seeing on ray076's car is that they seem to wear well (better than the 595rsr) but the grip just doesn't seem up to the task. For a normal street tyre I reckon they would be excellent for say 330rwkw but 380 and up I would be earching for something with lots of grip and a shortish life span.

that's if you want to go that way or just fry a few sets for a while :spoton:

The photo was taken in the mirror of my car by the passenger.

that's crazy! I've never heard of it doing that, mind you I dont look in the mirror often LOL

your right I think the 1's are the way to go if im gonna try something new. I dont ever expect to get traction but would like it to be abit safer when overtaking lol.

I've finally got a good update after whats been a very long 6mths, JETS heart lives and runs again even after the final wash yesterday and a massive crack in cyl 1 was found. Vernier gears were added at the last minute and a head to sump drain.

It won't be too long and it'll be back in the car with the other new goodies but will be about 6wks til I get to drive the thing but hopefully all/any bugs should be ironed out by then. Should see some big things from it in the coming months all things going to plan.

Hope all goes well mate, you are one very patient man...

NT01 max size is 18" I would look at the NT05 for your 20's. I have been very happy with these, they still lose traction from low speed boosting it however from a roll on they hook up quite nicely..

If you really serious, check out the NT05R or NT555r. I believe they have options in 20's. Don't know how they would go in the wet though, however seems the guys in the US think they ok?
