yeah I think my best time came when it was 8deg outside:D altho intake temps are right up when sitting staging, I have a wideband with data logger and intakes sit at 60-70deg when sitting waiting and maybe 50 when at the lights....I usualy drive out of the track do a few laps up the high way get the temps down then try get a run straight up....once I even had a spray bottle with metho in it and I sprayed the cooler while I was inline waiting...worked ok...need a dry ice cooler:D

Hi Slash

Thanks for that. Were they manuals mate? and if they were do you hapen to know what type of power they were putting out?

Yes, manuals. One was mine, another was a user called Youngy (Jason)

Mine - 330rwkw 11.81 @ 117 with a 1.65 60' on MT's on a 35 degree day, track temp in the 40's I think

Street tyred (normal road tyres) went 12.3 @ 118 with a 1.88 60'

Youngy - around the 380rwkw went 11.7 at 120mph or so.

All from memory, can't remember exactly as all this was ~ 5 years ago!

And 2nd gear burnouts - bah. 3rd gear and let it rip..

Hi Mate

Thanks a lot for the response. Your 60ft times are absolutly brilliant, the MT's you were running were they Miccky Thompsons by chance? That's next for me a set of 275/40/17 on the rear and hope for the best. I managed a 12.6 @ 119mph (street tyres)a few Wed back but just can't get my 60ft's anywear near even your Street Tyred 60ft run. My Stock clutch is nearly rooted so I am hopeing for one more night out on the ET's before it needs replacing.

Some guys with ute's seem to suffer from tramp at tack off, however I have never really had this problem instead I have wheelspin. I try and ride the clutch in 1st as much as possible??? I think I just need a lot more outings to try and get it right.

I believe the car has the power to get a high high 11 (350rwkw) however I would be very happy with a 12.2/3 - Just have to get out there.

Thanks again for your info mate.

Also your Evo that's not a Macana (not sure if spelt right) by chance is it?

Thank

Tys
