they are fixed because no one has worked out the way to get the wire signals to the steering wheel through the clock spring.

my wifes citroen has flappy paddle but I never use them.

good wanky factor though

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. They seem to have done some good work on the computer side of it but it isn't functional and it looks crap!
