To fit the cooler I had to tweak the a/c line and I used foam padded tape on the bar and a/c bracket and cooler so there was no chance of rubbing. I had to modify the brackets and drill two holes on the left side of the bar. I used touch up paint on the bare metal and some rubber gromets to plug the factory holes. I didnt like the look of silver so I sprayed the cooler black and all of the brackets and bolt heads to retain the factory and stealth look. I'll be upgrading to a direct replacement plazmaman, as I am still using 100% factory piping. This way I'll have more torque and more consistent power. As proven with a day in the hills on section of targa roads, the car had moments of less power. Didn't like that!

FORDCRAZY Member 36 Member For: 13y 6m 26d Posted 15/09/11 01:29 AM Share Posted 15/09/11 01:29 AM Yeah they got to just over 100c, if recall correctly. So monza is deff not a good cooler for cooling.

Has all been fine in terms of ECU, engine etc for four years - not a huge improvement over stock (id day 20-30rwkw sounds about right) but definitely "bang-for-buck" being only $500 or so all-up. I pushed my previous car BF XR6T to 313rwkw with monza and other bits plus tune... I just replaced my factory BF F6 intercooler with a Monza, and the difference is very noticeable! Monza is about 30% bigger than BF F6 factory cooler and it flows twice as much.. Compared to factory BA/BF intercooler, Monza is God! Not bad for $207 from eBay!!! Free shipping included! Realistically you have no more than 320rwkw... Hub dynos increase power dramatically!!
