You will want to tighten the bov to the car, loose parts in a moving car is quite dangerous

The loser the better. If you can get it lose enough that it opens at idle it will let extra air in and help with the idle issues our cars have. It will also open when your cruising and because the MAF doesnt register the air coming in through the BOV your car will run leaner and you get better fuel economy on the highway. (you may need to cut the spring to get it too open @ idle, and this will also gaurantee it fully opens under boost)

Let unfiltered air in!? Sounds like a good idea...

Also runnin leaner then the tune? What if it's already close to full duty? Kablaaam!

Are you joking with all that or what? Lol

You run the bov as tight as possible for sharp throttle response but loose enough to eliminate compressor surge, simple.
