After speaking to a couple of guys I have been advised that VCM is not as good to tune fords with as SCT, and SCT isnt as good for commodores as VCM. What are other peoples opinions? Tuners advise would be awesome. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/74996-vcm-v-sct/ Share on other sites

Such as over boost features and torque tags? 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/74996-vcm-v-sct/#findComment-1108411 Share on other sites

It just seems that the car with the power it has should run a couple more MPH than what it does. My car makes 7KW shy of yours Steve, but runs 6MPH slower, so there must be something holding it back. Launch technique might affect mph a bit but don't quote me here, it's beyond my ken how the many small variables affect mph and ET.What was the ET incidentally?Mine's an auto which reads a bit lower power wise vs manual. Not sure how much but I am guessing about 5%? Its ran 12.6, went 2.07 in the 60ft. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/74996-vcm-v-sct/#findComment-1109412 Share on other sites
