I have a new F6 Ute, my plans are exhaust, process west stage2 int kit, race intake and ofcourse fuel system cope with this. Not going to add any additional boost to it, as from previous experience boost will already raise a couple of psi after these mods.

Was going to just fit the intank walbro pump, but now im thinking it may not support the power level this car will make with these mods.

How much power do you think this thing will make? Am I wasting my time fitting the walbro, am thinking maybe I should just fit the external trusty old 044..

Any help would be much appreciated guys

Sam.

With those mods Yould be better off going straight for the surge tank and 044.

So if you run a 044 and surge tank setup you don't need the walbro intake pump?

Stock FG pump "usually" supports 350wkws give or take... over 350+ its a good idea to get a surge tank / 044 or better.

Definitely putting the surge tank and 044 on, I bought a walbro intake before I got the surgey and 044, and its sitting here in the box still, ive read that its not needed as the stock intake pump is sufficient to supply fuel to the surgey. or is the walbro a better pump than standard and just a bit more added "security"

Definitely dont need to do the in tank pump. Plus on a ute its a PITA. Just go the surge thank and 044. You are doing well if you manage to empty a 2L+ surge tank on one squirt.
