Folks reckon they outperform Brembo's and are on par with APMore suggestions?? Rosie Member 361 Member For: 18y 2m 4d Posted 23/05/11 06:13 AM Share Posted 23/05/11 06:13 AM AP are the go for me, but I have a mate who has 'big' 6 x 4 Alcons and he is struggling to get quality Pads that fit the Calipers! It looks like he will have to get them 'Custom cut' to fit!- Not the first time I have heard this!I woulld still stick with AP or Brembo.- You don't want to make it any harder than it should be! Guest XR09 Guests Posted 23/05/11 07:24 AM Share Posted 23/05/11 07:24 AM The Brembo 6 pot mono blocks are good. The 4 pots are average. But more than enough for the rear of these cars. What lets Brembo's down for mine is the rotors. Way too soft. You can get the Brembo 6/4 combo's with rotors for around three grand used now, which is fairly cheap for performance brakes.
