Hey all,

Seems the old flexplates flogged its guts out, need a billet one ASAP, Ive seen Atomic's kit, it looks sexy but before I lash out just wondering do Nizpro or anybody make a Flexplate kit for the ZF Auto?

Possibly even Yella Terra? theyve done a bit of flexplate stuff over the years..?

Thanks guys, I need to make the order by lunchtime Saturday (today now...) :bangcomputer:

probly anything over 320ish is pushing it, but id say its more the km's coupled with the power that does it.

The bolt holes are not to shabby, I could probably re-use it but id rather throw a Billet one in for insurance.... the stock flexplate is a joke really, a piece of 2mm sheet metal pressed to shape, then welded to an outer. Yet another reason why a ZF car isnt all their cracked up to be!!!!

Stick with the manuals fella's, either way you go in an Auto is gunna cost ya!

Assuming stock power levels will prolong the life of the Flexplate, fvcking bullsh1t when it comes to modding cars with auto's :pleasantry:

But then again unless u're a country boy u don't want to be stuck in city traffic during peak hour trying to drive this beast of a thing with 3 pedals

BTW Trough Lolly can you find some threads for me in regards to my diff mount being a bit loose and as far as diagnostics and replacement is concerned.

Any tips regarding what to look out for in the diff/bush area as they are quite fragile perhaps?? :icon_ford:

What to look out for in the rear suspension area as it seems a bit weak when it comes to diff mounts / diff bush

Whatever information would be helpful

Just go the atomic chromemoly flexplate. Quick & easy fix & if its working in mine it should be good in nearly anything else. My std one flogged out at 400kw with a truck load of track runs on top.
