Hey guys

Ok so I am starting to feel that my diff bushes may need doing.

My mate has all the tools at his place as he did he xr8 not too long ago... Plus he is a mechanic lol.

Ok so a couple of questions.

Clearly first.... Witch diff bushes should I get? I dont want to be changing these things all the time. I want some nice strong ones but at the same time want some comfort.

Also... I know my car has 2.73 diff ratio but I want to know is there any thing better? If so what sort of results can I expect? Also what it does to my fuel and comfort?

Diff oil?

Is there anything else that can be done to my diff to make it stronger and faster?

I have done some reading about these diffs and it doesn't seem like there is much that can be done. Also getting alot of mixed opinions on other forums about this topic too.

Zf´s have a very low 1st gear ratio. I wouldn´t recommend changing the diff gears as first will become next to useless as for bushes

Use Superproo SPF3232AK SPF3148AK if you want some compliance in the bushes or the same numbers Mins the AK on the end for the stiff bushes that will transmit more noise and harshness.

BTW a quick search for dis bushes netted part numbers in the first thread

This thread

and these other threads all covering the topic
