they are spot welded and doweled , with bigger ARP bolts, but when I pulled the box out last wk, I noticed the holes for the dowels had wear on them already like its tryn to move in there and the bolts had come loose, that's when we welded it.. But I still think theres a deeper problem why its getting loose and causing damage?

Has any1 heard anything bad about atomic balancers?

Id recommend putting a standard balancer on it, there is also no need to weld the bolts and keeping it off the rev limiter will help dramatically

Nizpro have several cars making the same and a couple with more power than yours without any flex plate issues, they all have the same setup wich includes:

standard balancer, Nizpro flexplate, ARP bolts with loctite

Any chance we can get a video of it on the dyno? Love to hear the induction noise (and of course the exhaust) up close.

And you have got to put a tartan blanket and bowls hat on the back window to take the piss next drags.

Faaaak me!!! that's nasty. So angry, scary containing that much power on a dyno. I had a WB Tonner with a injected 5lt, cam etc. It jumped off the dyno at full noise, I was there, bloody scary. The back wheels started to bounce, no weight in the tray. Lucky it was chained. Trashed my tyres and snapped wheel nuts.

Oh and I want that Mustang too. :burnout:
