scorsto Member 40 Member For: 16y 3m 6d Posted 17/02/10 10:07 AM Share Posted 17/02/10 10:07 AM I've recently been thinking about putting the nizpro 4" exhaust on my car.Current mods are nizpro stage 1 plus, But without the nizpro cat. Didn't wanna put it on because it seemed like a waste if I was gonna buy the whole 4" system anyway. Make about 270rwks atm. Does anyone know what sort of rwkw figure I will get with my current setup, plus the 4" exhaust. Also I've heard that the new nizpro 4" exhaust drones at cruising speeds, is there anyone out there with this sort of exhaust that can say wether this is true or not? Cause I like the quiet system I've got at the moment.1 last thing, Is it true Nizpro are developing an even newer 4"system, similiar to the xforce varex system, to overcome the drone? Has anyone heard of this?Cause I'll be holding out for it if its true.Sorry bout all the questions, but any help would be good. Thanks in advance. All I can say is the Nizpro 4inch is a great piece of gear.I have a BF F6 rspec auto and was concerened like yourself with drone. The exhaust is quiet, does not drone and sounds awesome above 3000 rpm.I had it fitted with rapids V3 ported turbo housing deka 60lb and walbro in tank pump which took the car from 242rwkw to 370rwkw on 16psi.Hope this helpsJim

BA F6 manual. I was hyper sensitive/paranoid that it would drone. All I can say is that I am VERY happy with it. At cruising speed it is surprisingly quiet for it's size and no drone. Just as quiet if not quieter than the stock system. I had the BF perforated tips fitted and would recommend same. It can be a little boomy on cold start up but this goes within the first couple 100 metres. and for a split second on 1st/2nd gear slow take offs but this is a very minor criticism - almost to the point of not worthy of mention.Se sounds awesome - spine tingling in car - when boost comes on. Idle is nice and menacing.Get it fitted right though. Mine vibrated to start with as it was touching in places but this was quickly rectified and 8 months on I have not had one single issue with it notwithstanding that you get a bit of growth in the s/steel when she warms up.Mine is slightly lowered and the exhaust has never fouled on anything like drive/speedhump etc etc. Not once. You will probably need to modify your turbo with the larger flapper and wastegate porting to keep boost levels down. Even with those mods, we couldn't get it to go any lower than 15.5 - 16psi. We couldn't get power any lower than 340rwkw at that.

I think I'll go for it then. You all sound like happy customers. Can't wait to get it fitted. What other mods do you think I should do to get up around the 350-370rwkw mark? As long as injectors are big enough cant see why it wont get there if it's a B series or F6.May need valve springs depending on year model also. I had it fitted so it would allow mods later on and I wouldn't be restricted. The thing under neath looks like a cannon. Much bigger than youd assume. You can certainly hear it in the car but as some have said the noise on full boost is spine tingling. On idle...make sure all the windows in your house are solid. My kids can here my car from the back of the house. But its not loud, just rumbles. Awsome. If I get the balls to let someone actually drive my car I'd love to hear it from outside.Had it ad Ford a few weeks ago and when they put it on the hoise the whole workshop stopped to have a look at it...they couldnt get over the workmanship of it.Probably overkill for me but the tips sort of look standard until you start it and give it a boot. Then it turns heads.I can't compare it to any cat back or twin system, but id have to recomend it as good gear. I'm after the "sleeper" look and this sort of fits in with that until I open it up. You wont be dissappointed.

If anything it will add power to your setup. that's what its mainly for. With forced induction like Turbos, the engine needs to breath, If it doesnt breath it doesnt live, so the more it can breath....get the picture?
