We were chasing maximum power so why would we want less than 16 psi? If your having an issue running less boost if that's what you want you should be looking to modify your turbo and actuator. This is not a point of concern for us.

The new F6 has a much stronger engine than previous models also has less running compression so 18 psi is no big issue.

I guess for the sake of tyres I'd like to have a seperate tune that runs around 12 psi (daily driven) then have a big power tune for drags/cruises/dyno nights. I know I have to be real careful when pulling out to overtake - 18-19psi is murder in 2nd and 3rd gear when its dry - and these days I don't even bother trying to overtake quickly in the wet - regardless of what gear I use

Boost is not the only way you can the way power comes on.

If the concern is keeping power down to make it more drivable.

You can still run the same boost but run a tune with less timing,or you can always give it less right foot.

In any case there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Oh I totally agree, and as you say, doing something with the actuator and wastegate port may well solve any overboosting issues.

The Niz exhaust does look like a nice bit of kit - the V-band idea is great, makes installation a breeze and would be handy for a race fuel tune at the drags, simply take off the section after the dump and swap for a side pipe of some sort :spoton:
