Well Charlie is fitting one of these to his F6 Tornado and it currently has 375rwkw.

Would be good to see what he gets.

It looks so good though that its a shame to hide it under the car.

Yeah kinda hanging to get it on the ute and see what differents it makes.

It does look good almost makes me wanna raise the ute, so the 1st speed bump I come across doesnt kill it

Dyno result with with one on a 600rwkw car???

There are alot of 4 inch systems already out for sale and have been out for a few years now and they look almost the similar if not same as this one just with out the twin cat and with out the v bands..

Technically you almost certainly wouldn't bolt that exhaust (as is) onto a 600rwkw car, as you would almost certainly be using a much larger turbo than stock, an external wastgate, and so a variation on the dump would be required.

However, the pertinent point, as Simon found with testing my 1000HP motor some 4 years ago, was ensuring that the muffler backpressure was minimised.

Back in 2004 I started with a full 4" exhaust, and the original mufflers I was using (sourced in Sydney) were found to be deficient and causing excessive backpressure at high power levels. Some custom mufflers were developed for a vastly improved result.

I was also running dual outlet pipes (twin setup), and when the car was back in Sydney I changed to a single muffler outlet for a better result.

So I would expect that stating a nominal 600rwkw support level would very much take into account the muffler design, size, and backpressure characteristics required from previous R&D. Mufflers that may well work well at say 350-500rwkw may well not be suitable for a 600rwkw application.

You bring up a good point Brian. Who needs a 4 inch system for stock turbo? The way I see it there are cheaper alternatives for the stock turbo that are twin 2.5 or single 3.5 inch systems. I don't quite understand having to buy a 4 inch system with a dump pipe suited to a turbo setup that will max out at 400ishrwkw. That's only using about 66% of the systems flow. If you could buy this system minus the dump, that would be a winner for everyone and I would certainly consider it for my impending build. I am getting a custom dump made so I'd be throwing away 3 or 4 hundred dollars buying this system.

you would think nizpro would invest in a mandrel bender and make all the sections in single pieces "looks good"

A mandrel bender that can handle 4 inch pipe will burn a hold in the National budget mate. Not cheap at all.

Nizpro supply products that are designed to work, looks come second as far as prorities go, Do you guys have a 4" mandrel bender in your exhaust shop?

I guess it will always will be there for the future with possibly a custom dump needed if changing turbo but that wont be happening for me anytime soon. May be a bit of overkill for us standard turbo boys but hey,its done and done once with only a minor change needed if changing turbo. Cant wait to see these start going on cars to here results as they will be what says all. Same things happened when their cooler came out but after a while people started seeing the results and started to change minds.

Well after a wait that has been very painfull , its here its on and its worth every heart breaking moment!

Last dyno day theFG ran 325 at the wheel and hasnt been touched since. Ran 11.77 with Boges at the wheel so it want a slouch.

Fitted the system and put it on the dyno and 348 all day. touched up the tune to control boost a little better but it really needs the cooler kit.

The cooler is here but waiting on some proto type pipes.

Boges is taking it to the drags tomorrow so hopefully he can pedal it done the track for some record run.

Thanks Nizpro.

Cheers Paul
