Rudiger,you can wrap a large hose clamp around the hanger rubber and tighten clamp to pull rubber up. Works a treat.

It seems there are a few people searching for a large exhaust that doesn't drone.

My search has led me to SMB, and Tunehouse. It looks like I'll be going with SMB though as they are willing to sell whatever bits I need where as tunehouse only sell the complete kit.

There is an F6 on here that has the 4"SMB on his ute and it sounded very nice. First car with an exhaust that I have liked, it was over 400rwkw so it is overkill for what I want

+1 I will shortly be ordering a "CatbacK" from Grant SMB, he's happy too sell separate components which suits me as I already have a 4" Dump and 5" dump the system is the 4"centre section that tapers to 3.5" after the center muffler. Ideal for what I want and $1480 + freight in Stainless, bargain if you ask me!

liverpool exhaust has shown me their 2 1/2" system (a worker there has a xrt of his own) and assures me its drone free. I really don't mind the tone of it either

I spoke to a guy at nizpro and he said the 4" system is fairly quiet due to using massive mufflers, when I asked about drone, he did tell me at about 1700rpm is the only time it slightly drones, can any owners confirm this?

does anyone have any videos of the nizpro system? I can't seem to find any good ones on youtube or anywhere..

And look. I keep saying this again and again and again. The Nizzy exhaust is easily 1 or 2 notes LOWER than any other 6 cyl exhaust out there. Take a look at some of the cruise vids and hear the cars go past then you hear mine. Definately a lower note.

and just a quick question.. do nizpro make any product at all that isnt stupidly overpriced for what it is??

I have delt with nizpro twice.....first and last. plenty of better quality better looking better performing parts out their and 9 times out of ten a better price

DUS12 mate, stick with your own tuner mate and go for it. But you dont have to bag cr@p out of them. I've never had a issue but you either get on with Simon or you don't. Simple. Have always taken my car there and will continue to. Maybe over priced but then I know if anything breaks where I go back to.

But this argument has been done and dusted to death mate. They have their detractos. So be it.

So tell us about your car Dus12 mate. What mods have you got and what power you putting out? Love to know what youve done and how much its cost you. Not being a sma@rt@rse but you sound like you know what your on about, so would like to see what youve done.
