Just did this quick 10 min mod in the boot and what a difference. A big improvement!It's good enough for me. More bass, tighter sounding bass and generally a cleaner sounding system rather than distortion plus which is what it sounded like before the mod. Heaps more bass in the back seat, can't say it's immensely noticeable up front. Will live with it a while before I decide but definitely can say it's an improvement! Been trying for a good hour but can't get the wires out of the plug to swap them over.From the comments in this thread I am thinking the tabs at the bottom of the plug need to depressed to get the wires out. . .but hasn't worked so far (see pic below).Any help greatly appreciated.
