Can any one clarify what side is the blue wire on the white plug from factory, is it on the right or left side?

Mine is on the right side and sounds good, but I only bought my car last week and was wondering if it had already been swapped over from previous owner.

Thanks Jstplyn. That confirms the orginal owner had already swapped the wires over.

As when I swapped them over the Sound was awful, no bass and was distorted!

Just installed the jaycar response 8" sub. Was pretty easy except that I didn't have the star pattern wrench (to take out the anchor for baby seat) and had to borrow one. Definitely need to put some dynamat or something on the shelf but is a cheap improvement from factory. Only $40. A bit more punch and can hear lower frequencies.

Thanks for sharing this tip, just done the change and definately a good improvement. Would changing the factory sub for an after market one (same 150 RMS rating), while still using the factory amp to make much difference? Was looking at the pioneer 150 RMS shallow mount sub?
