I did it, makes a huge difference. to the guys that arnt noticing play some lil wayne and then you will hear

its more responsive and deeper

I just did this to my BF F6 Typhoon...last couple of months sub has been crackling...Now it sounds amazing...quality sound again..

Cripes don't say you have a BF, or you'll have Jetsnot , RHR, and Dillz all over you like a rash!

+1 for this making a massive difference. No more distortion from the sub, the speakers now start distorting before the sub does.

I was skeptical - but I figured its entirely possible if there was an issue with phasing. So I tested it first by opening the boot and jumping in the car and turned it up - sure enough, a lot less distortion, so I figured it must be fact.

pulled the plug apart and swapped the connectors and it now sounds pretty good for a factory system.

It used to distort around the 25-28 mark (volume level) but now I can almost top it out at 33 with minimal distortion.

ok can someone please send me some pics on how to change the wires on the plug on the sub, I have been trying for the last 45 mins, either I am really stupid or there is a different plug on the gf mkii
