Just wondering what it could be???Otherwise, I had the climate control fixed when it was a couple months old (Ford fixed it in the March 2010 models, mines a Feb '10 haha). Fitted the lower airbox off an XR8, it comes on boost a tiny bit earlier, sounds a tiny bit nicer, and goes a tiny bit better I know I haven't been on in forever, sorry if this is in the wrong section and already been asked.CheersLayton

I remember reading somewhere that FG's make a small thud noise and it was something engaging in the driveline or something... I just cant remember the details plus I'm at work so dont have the time to look it up.Mine makes a small thud noise that happens about 10 meters out of the driveway, so probably in line with the first change to 2nd. But I think I am just used to it and dont notice anymore.

I think that's what TotallyHaggard is talking about.

Layton Member 31 Member For: 16y 12d Gender: Male Posted 17/05/11 11:09 AM Author Share Posted 17/05/11 11:09 AM But the warmer the engine is, the quieter the noise is. And it's not in the driveline, it's coming from the cat or maybe in front of it...So it's not unheard of and some of yours make the same noise?
