GinjaNinja Member 125 Member For: 15y 3m 2d Gender: Male Location: SEQ Posted 22/05/11 12:05 PM Share Posted 22/05/11 12:05 PM (edited) While we're on the subject of Trans filter/pans, does anybody have problems with the metal pan filter falling out with the BF/FG 6 speed ZF?I have been told to stay away from the metal pan as the aftermarket filter location and size are slightly different to that of the factory plastic ones, resulting in higher operating temperatures and in some cases, the filter dismantled from its location.I have since replaced it with a plastic one but still kept the metal pan for emergency use, does anybody know anything about this??
