Im getting Federals 595 tyres in 245/40/18I have been curious to see how these tyres perform and feel. At the moment I have Nexen N6000 (I think) and as long as they are an upgrade from them I will be happy.I will report back on my opinion of the Federals soon...By the way for 2 they are $310 plus fitting of $10 a wheel

They where good till aprox 1/2 worn then they went off and becamce pretty slippery.Running 595RPM's now on 285/30/19. Sticky as hell but waiting to see how they perform once 1/2 worn

I didnt give the car much so I cant say if they grip great or not but just feels nice on the road, definitley comfortable. I find the walls of the tyre a little more rounded then my Nexen tyres but most performance tyres you see have this kind of wall so its a good thing. I do like the tread pattern, looks nice a sporty. For the cost of $310 for two tyres I think for the money it would be hard to beat on value for money. The next stage up would have been Khumos which were $220 a tyre. If down the track I find these tyres to be inadequate I may try the Khumos. At the moment I cant say anything bad about the Federals 595 UHP (Ultra High Performace) tyre. Thanks Adam

Grip is excellent for my over 300rwkw's and I still have allot of tread left even after a drag meet and the skid here there and everywhere! My tyre's are standard BA1 17in rims and tyres fitted, balanced and wheel alignment for the 4 was $1000 so I am happy. I am even impressed with them in the wet which some say they are sh*t but I dont drive like a fool in the wet so I dont know...

Been on for 20k although not as sticky as the first 5k still good tread left and good tyre.

Tobey Awesome... Member 407 Member For: 14y 6m 7d Gender: Male Posted 16/05/11 09:28 AM Share Posted 16/05/11 09:28 AM The plain Federals would be a step up from the Nexens, but not much of one... The KU31's are much better, but still not great in the world of tyres.
