A mate just got his BF F6 modded to 390rwkw and was warned by the tuner that the standard tailshaft will twist if he takes it to Calder. Need to get a stronger unit made at places like GJ Drivelines in Dandy. Im sure there is a few other places also. If your chasing near or more than 400rwkw,it wouldnt hurt to beef the tailshaft up. nick d Donating Members 1,594 Member For: 14y 7m 4d Gender: Male Location: Melb Posted 11/05/11 08:55 AM Author Share Posted 11/05/11 08:55 AM (edited) This is an important topic for all owners to be aware of, I experienced this on Monday night in my car wasn't giving it while in motion at 25km manaully went into first into second bang.My car has low kms all stock have seent this happen on cars on youtube doing a 1/4 mile but a very common problem with these cars and I want all you guys who own these cars to beaware of this weak tailshaft we have on our cars.I will post a pic of the snap my opinion very weak metal compared to the old school tailshaft I'm used to handling just very lucky the car is finishing it's warranty and Ford are paying for it just very dissapointed that this happened to my pride and joy.
