I didn't even know they made good tyres in 20's..Yes grip is an issue with 180 and I bet with 4.11's its even worse! I know I had probs with my supercharged AU and it had 180 also.Just looked up Federal and the only decent one they have in 20's are 595EVO-Federal Link, pity as the rsr's are great tyre as there a semi slick and cheap for what they can do. Probably just need to learn to launch it a bit better. Or put some good tyres on a pair of 16s/17s.I eventually want to do cams so if I get a tune now, I know ill have to get a retune eventually. Not sure wether to save my coin and wait for the cams.I've adjusted the shift firmness up on the xcal 3, can chirp 2nd now which is a pretty big deal for the na guys

Just a thought.

I'm a sparky, and had never opened an engine before I did the cam on my EF XR6. Great mod. Do yourself a favour, go get workshop manual and a cam (seals and lifters while you're at it), should only set you back a few hundred bucks for a regrind and go from there. Nothing will make your six sound angrier than a nice grumpy cam.

All before the cams and valve springs. Decent rubber makes a massive difference

As has been pointed out, your next level of mods are going to require larger dollars, and all of a sudden the dollars vs gains do not stack up. Throw a few dollars towards your suspension. Upgrade sway bars, decent shock/coilovers can enhance the driving experience
