Don't get me wrong I love the look of new leather and I never have found the new perferated leather type seats to have the old "hot and sticky" vinyl problems.

If you do go for the leather, make sure you take the time to look after it with some good leather products (Not a Thong Ken). Nothing worse than spending all that extra moola only to have it go bad and look terrible.

H'Gag', it does look 'ok' and yes, maintenance would be far less trouble than Phantom but after applying a nice healthy coat of Meguiars Gold Class, take it out for a cruise and appreciate this brilliant colour in direct sunlight, especially if you opt for the premium paint.  (More metallic specs).

I could be wrong, but I didn't think "premium paint" referred to options within the same colour choice. My understanding is phantom is phantom is premium.

OTOH, winter white (or venom/vixen etc) is winter white is NOT premium. I don't know if the "special" solid colours ( blood orange, citric acid etc) are "premium" in spite of not being metallic, but all metallic colours are automatically "premium paint".

Cheers

Umm, yes it is an option. "Prestige Paint"....Additional $200+ (forget what the cost was).

Premium paint is an extra cost option, most colours are Premium extra cost colours. However there isnt a standard and premium version of the same colour, they are either one or the other. Standard NCO colours include white and red, premium colours include all the metallics - Phantom, Blueprint etc.

I can't see the point in paying $50 000 for a car, and getting white.

Oh, the leather is awesome, and the red stitching looks ripper in a phantom T

IMO:

Leather & hot sun - not a good combination! I'm happy with cloth interior. If I really want leather, I'll wait a few years (When or if the cloth starts to look worn or I grow less fond of it), then get aftermarket leather in design & colours I like.....for only a few $ more than the factory option.....then I've got a whole "new" fresh interior.

I got 18" factory wheels. For once, IMO, a motor company finally got a factory alloy/mag wheel design better looking than anything available aftermarket.

I dindn't get premium brakes.....BIG MISTAKE.....if there is one option that should be at the top of your list, before EVERYTHING else, it is the Premium brakes. The standards are sh!t. I now hate them.....Please please please get the premium brakes. Ignore verything & everyone's suggestions EXCEPT ALL advice re the premiums.

Cheers,

Marc...
