Would the FG F6 Rear Bar lower Insert fit a standard rear bar?

The standard one, in the pic below, is a pain in the ass to clean all the dust and crap out of the little rectangle slots so I was thinking of getting an F6 insert, has anyone done this and would it fit?

the FPV rear bumper is one piece, the insert is moulded into the bumper.

the XR/G6 series/XT bumpers are two piece, with the insert being held in place with 5 screws.

so to answer your question, no, it wont work

Mate buy one of the california car dusters. I've got the 24" one and the smaller one and they work a treat on fiddly bit of the rear bar. The big one is fantastic for the outside period. My car is ego so it shows everything. I go over it everyday but it sits in the garage all week - what a dick

I'd love to see someone do an open weave version - similar to the FPV B series on r spec I think? If it matched the grill and lower bar pattern (x hatch) it might look alright. Who's good at photoshop?

Is it easy to remove the bumper insert , do I have to remove the whole bar

I'm thinking of plasti dipping the insert black with the glossifier over it

If its easy to remove it will save a lot of taping

A possible solution would be fitting a diffuser like the one in this thread http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?/topic/81797-Had-A-Rear-Diffuser-Fitted-Today-To-My-Fgxr6T!

Or you could bog up the holes and paint it?

I have a fibresports diffuser for sale if you are interested dags, painted gloss black.

And wombat, you have to take a screw out if either side and then it has clips all the way across, bit of a pain but can be done.
