Knocking Noise

Hi all just bought a BF f6 there's a knocking noise coming from hmmm hard to explain left hand side upper fire wall comes and goes it's not coming from the engine any idea?

I reckon it's something hitting something else and possibly creating an audible representation of the collision and that's what your hearing. GL with it.

Under what circumastances does it Knock?

Ie left turn, right turn accleration, braking? All the time??

comes and goes you can hear it more when you pull up seems to be coming from passenger side under airbag

Take the glove box out

(open it and have a look up under the dash, theres a plastic arm from the box to the Dash pull this down and the glove box will open right up and unclip from the hinges)

and then make sure nothing has fallen out of the glove box and is rattling around behind it (like the lock nut socket??)
