She was driving illegally (the u turn) & that is what she is meant to be policing. If you worked at the bank & dipped your hand in the till you'd be fired. The public can't hold faith in the police force if they try & gloss over this sort of thing. What's going to happen next time she pulls someone over for doing 105 in a 100 zone & they read her name tag?
Guest XR09 Guests Posted 06/05/11 11:45 AM Share Posted 06/05/11 11:45 AM But if she was not one to wear a badge, would she have walked. These were her charges.1. Driving in a manner dangerous causing death.2. Driving a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner.3. Failing to give way while making a u turn.4. Failing to drive to the left of a white line. She did an illegal U turn across double white lines lines in poor conditions. She was not in a patrol car. She was not on the job. It was not a matter of life and death. For her. Anyone of us would be pretty hard pressed to get off one of those charges. But because she was a plod and had done her 80 hours of advanced driving. She did. As I said it's not her so much I am mad at. It's the system. Or rather the way Vic cops are a law onto themselves.Because we choose to ride bikes we are considered temporary anyway ??? It is very easy to look and form an opinion but without bring presented with all of the information it is impossible to form a logical opinion. I have stood before a judge for an event that went very bad. After all the facts and circumstances were taken into account I was on my way. Guest XR09 Guests Posted 08/05/11 04:43 AM Share Posted 08/05/11 04:43 AM (edited) Nah, can only say what the family said. Well half of what they said actually. They were there, in the court. And are still in shock. Hopefully its not over. Edited 08/05/11 04:44 AM by XR09

BUT when your a COP this does not apply to them and they have their own law , so they do what they like.

Was the U turn done only to have the crash? Was it timed only to kill the rider?People have accidents. That's why they are called accidents. Just because she was a cop changes nothing. She was charged and then acquitted, it's not like she was never charged just because of "the special set of rules for cops".

TURBOXR I miss her... Donating Members 703 Member For: 20y 5m Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 11/05/11 01:42 PM Share Posted 11/05/11 01:42 PM These were her charges.1. Who the hell do you think laid those charges?? And prosecuted against her??Victoria Police. And who 'let her off?'She was found not guilty by a jury this morning.A jury. 12 ordinary Victorians. Who are told all the facts of the case and dont just read a newspaper. Fark aint it enough for them to go around shooting people. Now they use their cars as lethal weapons. And comments like that show your obvious bias toward Police. And that you believe everything you read in a newspaper. Probably in the fvcking Herald Sun.
