The last time I had a really loud sucking noise was when the rubber joiner to the throttle body had split. I'd be checking for a boost leak. Is the car performing as you think it should?

I think it performs well, I've only had it 3 weeks and well it hauls ass IMO, the noise is a hissing noise really and it's really noticeable in the passenger side. My car has got 50,000 kms on it.

I felt around all the piping and it felt ok,

Do all fg xr6ts have an induction noise that can be heard inside the cabin when accelerating?

Thanks again

All depends how loud it is really. There is induction noise but hissing within the cabin I would say not really. Is it possible that the previous owner had a boost gauge and has removed it and left the tube disconnected in the cabin? Just a suggestion. I'd try to find this hissing noise in the cabin then if that's where it is loudest.

I've been noticing a slight hissing or whirring noise on my stock BFMK2 XR6T. I've looked at all the joins and seem tight but I'm still thinking there's a tiny crack in a seal.

If you were standing in front of the car and lifted up the bonnet, it sounds like it's coming from somewhere around the top right hand corner.
