Either company makes awesome kits, you cant go wrong with either of them. They will also be able to help suggest a turbo size application aswell to suit what your aim is. ALF05T Member 453 Member For: 18y 8d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 14/05/11 07:47 AM Share Posted 14/05/11 07:47 AM you'd think the GTX3582 would need a better manifold with external gate to reach that power? Can the GTX3582 reach higher power figures than the GT3582? Whats the difference between the two turbos?Isn't the GTX3582 the same stock housing plus the addition of the TO4Z wheel? The TO4Z can only reachthe mid 400's with T4 manifold how can the GTX3582 get to 500 with the stock maifold?was thinking of going a GTX4294 with twin 38mm gates but expense is obviously a factorso if I can reach my goal f 500rwkw for less money that would be unreal bang for your buck.Great thread very relevant to the majority of us turbo owners! tekaani Donating Members 163 Member For: 15y 7m 4d Posted 14/05/11 11:09 AM Share Posted 14/05/11 11:09 AM (edited) for 450rwkw I would go a 4094r. you could use a gtx3582r but using something larger would allow for further power later on down the track. I honestly dont think the gtx would flow that much not with a internally gated t3 housing. most I have made with a t04z compressor wheeled 3582r is 421rwkw, this was on 18psi tapering off to about 15-16psi Edited 14/05/11 11:11 AM by tekaani
ALF05T Member 453 Member For: 18y 8d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 14/05/11 10:37 PM Share Posted 14/05/11 10:37 PM I have read on the GCG website that the GT3582 puts out more power due to the bearing design.
