Thanks Matt, Totally agree re the tyre/rim width commment. I dont want to go any smaller than a 275 on my 9.5's once the Hugh Mungus rears I have now wear out

this jpc?

http://www.jpc.com.au/

Todd is running 20 x 10 +42 with 275 on the rear of his N/A, I rolled the guards and it fits perfect no rubbing. A 19 would fit even easier.. A 275 tyre fits nicer on a 10 than a 9.5

Arron, any pics of these wheels? what was the clearance like between the control blades and the rim?

unsure if its my net, or their site, but it's all ffuuccckkked up haha

yeah the "muffin" look works on 15s and 16s, but it just damages tyres on larger size rims

what were they before? and did you just extend the outer shell?

oh ok, ive got 2 to 3mm clearance up front, and about 10mm on the rear -- hell pisses me off ... I want the same clearance on the rear (2 to 3mm).

Yep.. mines at 2-3 mmm on the front. Put the spacer in for piece of mind.

Ill have to measure the front outer shells. I had these on the rear initially. Could be 2.5 inch ?????

Jimmi/Tocchi what 5mm wheels spacers are you using? I would like to push my fronts out 5mm or so to match the rears

Spacers are just repco specials.. cheapies.. they come in 3,5 and 8mm

Not the best but will do for now

Okay mr smarty britches... :) if you where to run a spacer do you have a preferred brand? Did you need to get the offset adjusted or where you able to mix and match your centres and bands to get it as is?

Front spacer on mine were just precautionary. Ideally you mix and match the shells to suit. With a 3 piece its possible. But now that Tocchi and to a degree myself have worked it out it should be a no brainer. The shells come in 1/2 inch increments

The centres are a standard depth... So you work the rim around it.

Thanks Jimmi, I dont have Simmons mate. Only china spec 1 piece rims :poke: I would only use the spacers to size them up and then get the rims modded or get the right size rims

yeah I can bet you have a 2.5" front as I have a 3" front. which will explain the 0.5" in rim width

2 mm but seeing it is a 10 inch rim with a 275, the rim is the widest point. I cant belevieve after 2 years and only 2mm clearance with 3 big guys in the back of his car it has never touched. A kumho is a big carcass ,a 275 on a 10 is nearly 285 mm at the widest point whereas a 275 on a 9.5 is only 272mm
