I think people need to be focusing on rpm and boost levels in relation to what the Valve Springs can take "power" is not really a good indicator of how strong the valve springs are. Back pressure in the exhaust has alot to do with it.

BA XR6T Example: Standard turbo running 15psi may make 350rwkw with big intake and exhaust mods and valve springs may be fine. Same car with no mods except say a tune and injectors may be running 15psi but the springs are floating their heads off. Take the same car again with a big GT42 turbo running 10psi with full intake and exhaust mods, again the valve springs may be completely fine while producing around 350rwkw.

These examples are very broad, but gives you an idea of why you may need to change your valve springs sooner or later than someone with the same car, but different setup...
