ok finally got some tyres and wheels to put them on for the strip, sick of having a bad time due to wheelspin halfway down the strip

no what I got isnt a strip set up but hey what are you going to do!

I just want to know whats the best starting point to set up and see where I go from there

they are FG XR6 17" wheels with toyo R888 tyres, I know they are more of a circuit tyre but they have got to be better than my street 19's that are hopeless.....

so starting psi anyone? and what can I expect from them in tems of lifespan and 60 ft time

Start with 30, then try drop it to 25. I think 20 is about the limit. Remember the pressure will build when they get hot, so measure Before and after your run and see what changes.

Any reason why you didnt go with ET Streets?

Cos I got these kinda for nothing, ET streets would have cost money

I'll get them when these are bald

Thanks I'll give it a go, hopefully they hookup some what, can't see why not with a tread wear of 100, also can't see them lasting more than one day at the drags either
