I know its a bit late, but I have them on my Wife's V8 Calais and they are a fantastic Tyre for the money, better then the Sport Maxx I have on my Turbo.

ended up getting at set @ $220 each.

Have been on for a week, slippery the first 5km but all good now. :3gears:

They have a bit of road noise aswell.(dont all tyres)

Iam happy so far.

my stock fg f6 just done a 12.702/115.27mph on the new tyres.

Try to stall it up,just span.

Driving it of the line was the way to go. :spoton:

So the tyres are not to bad on the stock power on the strip too.

I did a 12.39 on them tyres @ 121 mph, and I don't have an LSD....

No launch and still span, they lasted one trip to the drags, the rears were shagged afterwards completely bald, did too many big skids... The stock tyres that everyone bags out have been the best street tyres I've used on the strip so far to be honest... The gap made dunlops that is.

Keep us posted which way you go I'm thinking I might invest in 2 tyres since they are reasonbly priced.

310_FSX - I have also herd that the Goodyears are best by far right now with R001 coming 4th in a recent tyre study by Wheels.

I have 2x 245/35/19 re001's done I dunno 2-3000km maybe most of that on the front lots of tread left, will be for sale thursday when the nt05's get fitted..

Pickup from melbournes northern suburbs

I'll also have 2x maxis z1's same deal if anyone is interested in cheap tyres..

Have used the re001 in an older car I had and with the correct tyre pressures I found that

In the dry stick VERY good seem to hang on hard very good take off traction great steering feel direct and stiff...too much tyre pressure they get very jiggly

In the wet felt nervous/twichy almost slippery...still grip for cornering but suck on acceleration spin wheels too easy and suddenly.

For a dry tyre I think for the price very hard to beat...for wet theres better.
