That was the only time it must have peaked at way above normal.Most of the Easter weekend was wet or damp, and with the spooling sound so loud I was only stomping on it for a few seconds, getting wheel spin and backing off.I hope no damage done Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
boost69 Donating Members 737 Member For: 19y 7m 9d Posted 03/05/11 12:06 AM Share Posted 03/05/11 12:06 AM If your car is stock it will feel very strong in first and second until mid gear in second you get thrown forward in your seat with your car going into limp mode...(unless its only over boosting by 1 or 2 psi.I have had the actuator problem... car was going hard... considerable increase in power...but most of the time it would go into limp mode in second gear... John K Member 141 Member For: 16y 11m 18d Location: Sydney Posted 03/05/11 12:28 AM Author Share Posted 03/05/11 12:28 AM (edited) I think the damp roads were assisting in keeping boost down, but most of the time I never got through 2nd before backing off.Once I did tramp on it at about 90kmh - it kicked back to 2nd and just started fishtailing, then changed into 3rd and kept going. I got off the gas pretty fast after that - but that was damp road too.It felt pretty good. It's given me the taste of real grunt and now that the car is out of warranty ..................
