Sort of blows you away and makes it frustrating that you didn't get around to it earlier...! PS; Just looked at your old BA and new F6 performance listings - any reason why they are so close in times despite a massive rwkw difference? (I am thinking about upgrading to a F6 - of course its a better car than a BA/BF in every way, but just not sure its adequately faster to warrant it (for me) just yet)Cheers. Just t-piece into that line. OR the line that goes into the regulator at the back of the fuel rail, t-piece off that also.
John K Member 141 Member For: 16y 11m 18d Location: Sydney Posted 30/04/11 05:51 AM Author Share Posted 30/04/11 05:51 AM (edited) Well, no boost checking for me now.The engine went into limp mode (I think) on the way back from shops this morning when I picking up the tee piece and some silicone hose.Gave it a little squirt in 1st, started spooling up, then there was a popping noise and power was gone. It ran like a ragged dog on 3 or 4 cyl for a minute or so till I found somewhere to pull over.I switched it off, rang the workshop telling them something very serious was definitely happening, then after ~10 minutes, restarted it and it is running fine again. I have been for a short drive since and the turbo is still spinning up, but I'm not going to drive it any more except to the workshop on Monday morning.Over boost I'm guessing.Hopefully they'll get to the bottom of it and I'll get my old T back.
