A special mention to all whom have laid down their lives for us all and way of life.

I have taken a few minutes personal silence for my Grandfathers who fought in WW2

They are obviously now deceased ,RIP

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

If you can read this message thank a teacher, If you are reading it in English of your own free will THANK A SOLDIER!

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves under the flag, and whose coffin is

draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.

To all the brave men and women who have dedicated or given their lives to protecting this country and it's freedoms:

Lest we Forget.

To my dad and his mates who fought for our country...

For those who were lost... Your legacy will live on forever...

We live in a free nation because they sacrificed their lives for us...

:stupid: s

Must have been a big do this morning at the Enogerra barracks, not often you see massive traffic jams at 4am.

Good turn out in the city for the dawn service too...good to see the young ones dragging themselves out of bed to pay their respects.

My kids "wanted" to march today. So proud.

They never even met their grandparents on my side.

My ex Grandfather in law made it to 102. RIP Will :spoton:

I remember as a little kid asking my mother about my grandfather.....

The sight of the tears in her eyes as she explained to me how he died in a Japanese prison camp called Changi will stay with me forever.:(
