BA ute diffs, well I was on my 5th at about 8000kms. The 5 speeds are nice to drive, my old one stock was a pain to get into 3rd occasionally but other than all good. Theres story's everywhere though of them letting go with basic mods.

BA bottom ends are still good for 350rwkw, will just need a set of valve springs.

Ba2 gets the 6 speed manual, Bf gets better valve springs, bf2 better valve springs and typhoon motor.

If a BAs all you can afford, maybe look at converting it to 6 speed of buy an auto.

I wouldn't say they're "good" for 350, they can get there but they can also let go pretty easy too.

Didn't the F6 springs and rods come in at the same time on the BF2?

Hey mate,

Well 240 rwkw = about 320 rwhp.

That is pretty easily obtainable from just a custom dyno tune :icon_ford:

Xacl 3 + custom tune from a reputable tuner = :buttrock:

I think most BA's stock are between 170-190rwkw so a tune can extract the rest. Any more than that and you'll need to look into injectors, fuel pump, valve springs etc

Depends on your budget and power requirements from then on...
