MX Dave Donating Members 545 Member For: 14y 1m 26d Gender: Male Posted 23/04/11 04:55 PM Share Posted 23/04/11 04:55 PM Okay guys, Ive installed a catch can onto the rear PCV the other day, And I lost a couple pound of boost.. the car didnt seem any less powerfull but still im a little worried.Would a Fualty PCv cause a boost leak because its connected to the plenum?Would the Can see boost at all?I connected one of the hoses from the can I put on straight to the pcv so it was acting like stock but still only 4-5pound boost.Anyone have any ideas on wht this could be?Im starting to think it may just be my gauge as im sure id loose 20 or 30 horsepower with 2 PSI less boost?The gauge seems to sit about a pound below zero when the engine is off. maybe that's it?Anyway Just trying to figure out what is going on and if anyone has any ideas as to what it could be?Thanks, Dave Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/74462-faulty-pcv/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
