I'm thinking of replacing the Factory 19s on the R Spec with some aftermarket 19s. Does anybody know if the BF 2 FPV still had offset wheels. I presume the rims are 19 x 8, what width of wheel and tyre can be acheived to get some wider rubber especially on the back?

Cheers

I am assuming you need to clear Brembos...

BF's are all 19x8, so you won't get anything wider (tyre) on there...

You can fit some 19x8.5 up front and 19x19.5 on the rears (may need to role guards depending on the height)

This will allow you to run some 275-295's) on the rear... I'd suggest 275/35/19 or 295/30/19...

The side wall in a 35 profile gives a little bit more grip...

You have a couple of options in semi's/radial with good grip. KU 36 in 285/35/19 or federal RSR... But you may have to pump your guards a little...

The next thing is which Brembos do you have? 6/4 or 4/4 or 4/2? Youll need to get something that clears these... Let me know if you want some info on what will fit over em ;-)

275/30/19 is what you want on the rear to keep the same rolling diameter. If you go 19 x9.5 and +42 to +44 you wont need to roll the guards

There is a set of speedy infernos... $199 for 19x8.5... You can get them staggered with 19x9.5 rears...

Good luck finding a +44 through anyone that clears Brembos...

Also you can get axis hiros...

True worm a +44 maybe an odd size try +45 but you would have to trial fit. My son has vertini Mclaren 20x8.5 +36 and 20x10 +42 with 275 and they are close on the inside and only required slight guard rolling on a BA

I tried them on my F6 with 6/4 brembo and they clear.

If he wants grip... 20's are not an option. 19's are the only thing you can get a decent tyre in.

20's are only for looks..

I was referring to the offsets not the size of the wheels. I agree 19s is the best option if you want performance.

Tyres for 20" rims are getting better and better. And if you have a good suspension set up the performance is pretty good. Well a bit better then just pretty good.
