Wastegate Flutter?

"Flutter" is the intake air reverberating off the intake wheel of the turbocharger.

Centrifugally supercharged cars will flutter as well. Same theory. Flutter has nothing to do with the exhaust wastegate, or the exhaust at all actually.

Free up the intake more and it becomes louder.
