wat dillz said and rememba I am gonna upgrade turbo later on so might as well do these other mods to support bigger power wen the time comes. I want the car as reliable as I can get it and if something breaks well at least I tryed, once the exhaust goes on I will be taking it down to see wat time I can run on street tyres

Depends on gearbox, tyres, tune, driver, distance etc etc.

wasnt really after an answer.

everyone knows the smaller fg turbo is faster in most road situations.

A full exhaust will make the car breather easier and make power with less boost.

You'd think it would make it breath easier with the full exhaust on the FG XR6T but it is not the case and not worth it until going to the bigger turbo. A change of cat is all that is needed with the small turbo as it just runs out of puff...

Totally agree I'm just saying he has already bought the exhaust so might as well put it on. With just a cat (and other supporting mods) the auto's seem to get too mid 310's with the exhaust they can get to mid 320's so there is a power gain too.

Yeah but do a full zorst and you'll most likely end up with boost creep - plenty have. Do you really want to spend $800 ish to port the small turbo to gain 10-15rwkw over just a cat swap? That's exactly why I went with the Venom bolt-up job. If planning to upgrade the turbo however, I would spend the money on a full system. It all gets back to trying not to spend money twice and I'm definately guilty of that one, lol.

Are the dump pipes the same for FG turn and BA/BF turbos?

I say overkill is fine for now, if your gonna make the most of it later on...

I agree that its an overkill but I would rather overkill then push the limits but that just me and also like I mentioned before I will be getting a turbo upgrade later on anyways so y not have the exhaust plus it will sound betta then the stock one I got on now
