hey, I recently brought a xr6 turbo ute and am thinking of getting it converted to gas. I am just wondering if this will do any harm to the car and whether or not I can run it on dual fuel. also will it lose any speed?? and how many k's should I be able to do with a full tank of gas? replies would be much appreciated thanks.

Which state are you in mate?

You have 2 options... Liquid Gas or injected vapor... Depends on if you are planning modifying or not.

Let me know more :-)

out of curiosity as I've been asking myself a similar question, how does vapour vs liquid change plans to further modify your car? do either one option inhibit you from adding power mods?

all I know is that liquid injection runs cooler so it makes more sense to go the liquid way?

If you run liquid and want to modify it over 300rwkw, you need a bigger pump in the tank... And bigger injectors...

Vapor you can use multiple convertors for more power...

this will be a newb question I'm sure...

but will most decent tuners be able to tune lpg?

like if I install lpg now... and want to modify it later, do I have to take it to an lpg specialist to tune/modify to get the best outcome? or any decent tuner will be able to tune/modify it?

Also, which option did u end up getting worm? liquid or vapour? and did u get other power mods with it?

I have had liquid on two cars...

350rwkw BA... Bigger injectors and pump, rapid intercooler and intake, valve springs, ported turbo with 12psi actuator, xforce 5 inch cat with center muff removed on exhaust, thermostat, Mal wood option 3 clutch and plugs...

Currently have 285rwkw BA with phoon intake, valve springs, stock exhaust, and typhoon cooler... (upgraded cooler to process west v2 just to keep intake temps down over summer)...

Basically, you could get 280rwkw with lpg kit with higher flowing injectors and a tune... No other mods...
