Yes I agree, but same thing happened in the vl scene, went from full street, then minitub's and suspension, then half chassis and so on and so forth, obviously this car has plenty in it still so obviously this is just the start by the look's of things...

So we go from 6speed auto, 2 piece tail shaft, independant rear end, airconditioning, nice interior back to a 3 speed auto, 1 piece tailshaft, single axle diff with the aircond ripped out and a stripped interior.

Would have been easier to start off with an e series falcon.

Well already the top 2-3 car's have already moved to 2-3spd auto's, most likely 1 piece tailshaft's and solid rear axle 9 inch conversion's so Yes they are definately moving in that direction...

or CLINIC driving from home to shops to track, run many 9s, then to mates then back to home in a 4sp. Again, many variables in all builds. Exciting times ahead nevertheless.

Why wouldnt you progress down that path, there is only so far you can go with cars weighing 3800lbs+ before you hit a brick wall. Someone will find the horsepower limit of these motors where they become unreliable, so the next logical step is to start chasing weight out of them. The IRS setup I cant see going a hell of alot quicker either, its messed with our heads many a time now trying to get my car down the track and with most now going to a 9" with 4 link nobody will develop them further unless one person has the coin to pay for R&D. I know I will be going down the serious drag car setup when funds permit and I get left further behind the benchmark. Looking forward to seeing these cars racing in the Pro Compact and Turbo ranks taking it to the rotaries and 2J's :dontknow: SPIRO :dontknow:

^ bingo. he ran the times. he put the money into the car to run the times. he could of chose a different car etc, but he chose this one. should be happy he's pushing the boundaries of the Barra in racing.

(Errol's BA, like with Simon from Allfast's BA supercharged outlaws, both started as BA falcons, and still are... just with a lot of panel work.)

too much tall poppy syndrome in australia :-/
