Rebuild Or New Motor

nightmare f6 , don't no prices or witch direction 2 go can u get them rebuild at what price, or try & get a f6 short block & get some 1 swap it all over, or get the 1 I have rebuild.

Start by finding out whats actually wrong with it first, plenty of reasons for low comp other than a bent rod.

Even if has tweaked a rod, if the bores aren´t damaged a replacement rod and piston can get it up and running again

Update on nitemare f6 it starts & runs ok no clunks bangs or rattles its smooth 4 about 30- 40seconds then gets a very bad miss as said b4 2 clders very low on compreshoin heaps of blowby, engine is geting pulled out late 2day or erly next week 4 stripdown then we will c whats going on with it.thanks guys 4 your input.

rebuild if the block and bores are okay, otherwise buy a new block, and new pistons, rods, brgs, and wack it all together. I blew my motor and put a new fg f6 short motor in it... I forever REGRETTED that move, and wish I had used the crank and put atomic pistons and rods through it. At least that way you will have peice of mind.

I was forever second guessing my tune, any noises by not putting good gear in it and just an fg f6 short motor. For the sake of an extra $500 to $1500 I destroyed any joy I had of driving the car, so much so that I sold it and bought a turbo territory. Hope this helps.

Nightmare f6, Atoimic 698 short coming soon spoke 2 brad this morning, just got2 get my engine out & ring him he will organise the motor 2 b picked up he said should only take about a week or so turnaround also geeting a moded fg manifold from him & some of those anchorlox 2 stop bolts from loosening,I need a big cooler,60lb injectors & afew other things.
